                                                                                                            Babil Kulesi



                        Sümerliler, inançları gereği yükseklere taparlar ve yer ile göğü bağlayan kutsal bir ağacın varlığına inanırlardı. Tanrıdağı
                        diye adlandırdıkları bu kuleyi Dünyanın yedi harikasından biri olan Babil’in Asma Bahçelerinin içine yapmışlardır. Bu kuleyi
                        zamanımızdan 5.000 yıl kadar önce Tanrı Marduk adına yapmışlardır.

                        Kule ilk olarak, 90 metre genişliğe ve 90 metre yüksekliğe sahip 7 katlı bir bina olarak inşa edilmişti. Bir insanın bütün bunları
                        öğrenip, anladıktan sonra yani yedi basamağı sırayla çıktıktan sonra Babil Tanrısı (Marduk’a) ulaşılabileceği düşünülürdü.
                        İnançlarına göre Marduk insanlara sadece orada görünürdü. Ama onun görünmesine sıradan ölümlüler dayanamazdı. Bu
                        nedenle tapınmaya gelen halktan kişiler birinci kata çıkabilirlerdi. Bundan sonraki üst katlara sadece rahipler çıkabilirlerdi.
                        Çevresinde ise rahip sarayları, ambarlar, konuk odaları, Tanrı Marduk adına yapılmış olan diğer tapınak, Esagila’ya giden
                        aslanlı geçit ve dini tören yolu bulunuyordu.

                        The Sumerians worshiped the highs according to their beliefs and believed in the existence of a sacred tree that connects the earth and
                        the sky. They built this tower, which they call the goddess, into the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
                        They built this tower in the name of God Marduk about 5,000 years ago.


                        The tower was originally built as a 7-storey building with a width of 90 meters and a height of 90 meters. It was thought that one could
                        reach the Babylonian God (Marduk) after learning and understanding all of these things, in other words, by climbing seven steps one by
                        one. According to their beliefs, Marduk only appeared to people there. But the ordinary mortals couldn’t stand it. Therefore, people from
                        the worshipers could go to the first floor. Only the priests could go upstairs. Around it were the palaces of priests, warehouses, guest rooms,
                        the other temple built in the name of God Marduk, the lion gate to Esagila and the religious ceremonial way.
