            Toronto, Kanada’nın en büyük şehri ve ticaret merkezi, Ontario eyâletinin başkentidir. Nüfusu yaklaşık 6 milyondur ve genelde
            İngilizce konuşulur. Nüfusunun %54’ünü göçmenler oluşturur; Chinatown, Greektown, Koreantown, Little Italy, Little Portugal
            gibi azınlık mahalleleri vardır. Gelişmiş bir ulaşım ağına sahiptir; yeraltında alışveriş merkezleri ve metro istasyonları vardır.
            Son derece güvenli bir yerdir, suç oranları çok düşüktür. Niagara şelaleleri’ne, Ottawa, Montreal, ABD’ye oldukça yakındır. En
            önemli simgesi “CN Tower”’dır. “Rogers Centre” (eski adıyla “Skydome”) şehrin merkezindedir.
            Güneyinde Ontario Gölü vardır. Dünyanın en büyük hayvanat bahçelerinden biri olan “Toronto Zoo” doğusundadır. Şehrin
            futbol ve basketbol takımları ABD’de görev yapar. Basketbol takımı NBA’de, futbol takımı ise NFL’de oynar. Aynı zamanda
            ülkenin de tek beyzbol takımı olan bluejays de oyunlarını burada oynamaktadır.

            Toronto is Canada’s largest city and trade center, the capital of Ontario. Its population is about 6 million and English is spoken in general.
            54% of the population consists of immigrants. There are minority neighborhoods such as China Town, Greek Town, Korean Town, Little
            Italy, Little Portugal. It has an advanced transportation network. There are underground shopping malls and metro stations. The place is
            extremely safe, crime rates are very low. It is very close to Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Montreal and the USA. The most important symbol is “CN
            Tower’. ‘’Rogers’’ Centre (formerly known as ‘’Skydome ”) is in the center of the city.

            To the south is Lake Ontario. One of the largest zoos in the world, the ‘’Toronto Zoo’’ is on its east. The football and basketball teams
            of the city serve in the USA. The basketball team plays in the NBA and the football team plays in the NFL. Bluejays, the country’s only
            baseball team, also plays its games here.
